Who is this guy?

Henrique
Couto

Filmmaker, producer, podcaster, movie host, and—as the evidence strongly suggests—a snappy dresser.

01 / The short version

A one-man studio with a very full calendar.

First things first: say it like “en-ree-kay Koo-toe.”

Henrique Couto is an independent filmmaker who has spent most of his life turning ambitious ideas into finished work. He started making cable-access television at age 12, graduated to backyard movies, and has since directed more than twenty features.

His filmography moves freely between horror—including Babysitter Massacre and Scarewaves—comedy, family entertainment, and westerns. The job title changes: writer, director, cinematographer, producer, actor. The approach does not: solve the problem, tell the story, and keep moving.

Brilliant, bizarre, and always working.
